Available MikroTik Files

Download the generated RouterOS files directly.

Method 1: Import an RSC File

The simplest method is to download the generated RSC file and import it into RouterOS.

Step 1: Download the file

Download the required IPv4 or IPv6 RSC file from the links above.

Step 2: Upload the file

Upload the RSC file to the MikroTik router using WinBox, WebFig or another supported file-transfer method.

Step 3: Import the file

From the RouterOS terminal, run the appropriate import command.

/import iran-v4.rsc

For IPv6:

/import iran-v6.rsc

Verify the Address List

After importing the file, verify that RouterOS contains the generated Iranian prefixes.

IPv4

/ip firewall address-list print where list=IRv4

IPv6

/ipv6 firewall address-list print where list=IRv6

Method 2: Download and Update Automatically

The published update scripts can be used as the starting point for automated RouterOS updates.

Using IRv4 in MikroTik Firewall

Once the list has been imported, the IRv4 address-list can be referenced by RouterOS firewall rules.

/ip firewall filter add chain=forward dst-address-list=IRv4 action=accept

This is only an example. Firewall rule order and policy should be adapted to the actual network design.

Using IRv6 in MikroTik IPv6 Firewall

IPv6 policies can reference the IRv6 address-list.

/ipv6 firewall filter add chain=forward dst-address-list=IRv6 action=accept

Review your IPv6 firewall policy and rule order before deploying any rule in production.

Why Use an Address List?

Centralized Prefix Set

Multiple firewall or policy rules can reference the same logical address-list instead of repeating individual prefixes.

Easier Maintenance

Updating the address-list allows policies to continue using the same list name while the underlying prefixes change.

Automation Ready

The published RSC and update files can be integrated into RouterOS automation workflows.
